About Me

Shauna Letvin is a dedicated social worker and mental health professional with a strong educational background and a passion for working with children and adolescents.  She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC), where she was also a member of the USC Women’s Water Polo Team.

Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she pursued a Master’s in Social Work (graduating in 2012), with a concentration in Children and Families, and earned a Pupil Personnel Service Credential (PPSC), which qualifies her to work within educational settings. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of child and adolescent development, she undertook a two-year fellowship at the renowned Reiss-Davis Child Study Center. During this time, she participated in rigorous seminars and provided therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families from a neuro-bio-psycho-social perspective.

Her fellowship culminated in a specialization in psychodynamic psychotherapy, where she worked closely with children, adolescents, and families, focusing on addressing complex emotional and behavioral challenges. With a foundation built on both academic excellence and hands-on experience, Shauna remains committed to supporting children and families through a compassionate and holistic approach to mental health.
