Shauna Letvin, LCSW
Shauna B. Letvin, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience specializing in therapy for children, teens, and adults. She has maintained a successful private practice in Hermosa Beach, CA, where she offers compassionate, client-centered care. Shauna has extensive experience working in elementary, middle, and high schools within LAUSD and the South Bay, providing a solid foundation in school-based mental health services.
In addition to her clinical work, Shauna is a Los Angeles County Ocean Lifeguard Recurrent and serves as a substitute Junior Lifeguard Instructor during the summer months, blending her love for the ocean with her commitment to teaching and mentoring youth.
Shauna understands that starting therapy can be a daunting and overwhelming experience. She believes the client-therapist relationship is essential to successful therapy and takes a collaborative approach to help clients make informed decisions about their mental health. Her goal is to guide you toward a deeper understanding of yourself, exploring both the internal and external challenges that may be hindering your progress. Together, you will work at your own pace (with some pushing) to uncover and address these obstacles in a safe, supportive environment.
